A large full sand Island that could be anywhere in the world is serviced by the Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort Jet Cat passenger boats as well as 2 vehicle ferries, one is the high speed MIcat ferry run by Hawkins Transport out of Lytton that lands at the Tangalooma Wrecks just north of the Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort on the bay side of Moreton Island.
The second is the Combi Trader that departs from Scarborough near Redcliffe and pulls into Bulwer on the northern end of Moreton Island.
Both the MIcat Ferry and the Combi Trader are vehicle ferries, only 4WD vehicles are allowed on Moreton Island.
As you approach Moreton Island from Brisbane you can see the Tangalooma Villas and Beachfront Houses along the foreshore of the Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort.
Inside the Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort, we own and manage a 2 storey Beachfront Villa that has absolute beachfront position right on the edge of Moreton Bay
The 2 storey luxury self contained Beachfront Villa sleeps 8 people comfortably, 2 decks that allow 180 degree views of Moreton Bay from Brisbane to the south, Redcliffe in front and Bribie Island to the north.
We also manage a luxury 2 level Beachfront House that sleeps 10 people, this too is fully self contained and is very tastefully decorated and furnished.
At night, wild dolphin’s come into the Resort Jetty for feeding.
 At certain times of the year you can see whales swimming past the front of the Villa less than 200 meters away and dugongs in amongst the seagrass near the Tangalooma Wrecks just north of the Resort and at other seagrass areas close to the Resort.
